50 Places I Want to Travel to After COVID-19

Ok, I'll be honest, this list changes daily and it is a lot longer than fifty places...a lot longer. That sounds a little crazy doesn't it? But, if my passion for travel has taught me anything, it's that there are endless places in this big world to visit, so no list can really be too long. At least that's what I tell myself...
As I'm getting older and more independent, travel - particularly intercontinental travel - is becoming more of a possibility for me. There are so many beautiful places to see that offer vibrant culture and unique experiences that I want a chance to be a part of. That said, sometimes list-making (like this one!), going on Google-vacations, and cooking different kinds of food is the closest I can get to travel... particularly during a worldwide pandemic.
Even when the world is not experiencing a pandemic, finding the funds to travel isn't an easy endeavor for me. I want to go out and plan and do it all right now, but the reality is: I am a broke college student whose family isn't necessarily rolling in money. The only reason I was able to spend a semester in Europe was because all of my financial aid followed me - meaning it cost the same as a regular semester - and I took out a private loan for travel. Don't get me wrong, I am very fortunate to have the ability to go to college, the ability to take out a loan, and to have had the opportunity to visit eight countries in my short lifetime. I only mean that I can't necessarily pick-up and travel whenever the feeling strikes...which is every second of every day. This means I have save up for a while, usually for one trip at a time. In turn, that means I have to be patient and make decisions. I hate making decisions and I am not very good at waiting, so traveling from the comfort of my home tends to be one of the better ways to alleviate some of my unrequited wanderlust.
With my last couple trips in Europe being cancelled for a five month (and counting) coronacation, my dream of an around-the-world trip is getting stronger by the minute. I'm sure that travel doesn't sound half-bad to anyone else that has been taking this quarantine seriously and needs something exciting to look forward to. That's why I'm going to take you on a trip around the world to fifty of the places I want to visit one day after COVID-19. I hope it will help you escape reality for a moment and inspire you to start checking some places off of your own list when it is safe to do so.
